Setting up your café: brand, contact, and QR
Everything that appears on your public storefront — logo, tagline, hours, address, and the QR code that customers scan.
Every café on Klicktify gets a public storefront page at /h/[your-slug]. This is what customers see when they scan your QR code or search for your café on /h/cafes. It shows your logo, name, tagline, menu products, rewards, tier ladder, operating hours, and address.
The slug in your storefront URL is set during registration. It must be unique across Klicktify. If your café is 'Brew & Co.', the slug might be 'brew-and-co'. You can change it later from Settings → Public Website.
From Dashboard → Settings, you can update:
- Business name — shown in the header, on the membership card, and in search results.
- Category — Café, Restaurant, Bakery, Barbershop, Salon, Gym, Retail, or Other. Used for filtering in the Find a café directory.
- Tagline — a short phrase shown under your name on the storefront. Keep it to under 100 characters.
- Logo — upload an image file (PNG, JPG, WebP) or paste an image URL. Used on the storefront header, the membership card, and QR poster.
From Dashboard → Settings → Contact, set your address, phone number, and email. These appear on your storefront and in the /h/cafes directory. You can also add your coordinates (latitude and longitude) — if set, a 'Get directions' link will appear on your storefront that opens Google Maps.
Set your weekly opening hours from Dashboard → Settings → Contact. Hours are shown on the storefront. Leave the hours field blank for a day you're closed.
The hours format is free-text: '8am – 6pm', 'Mon–Fri 7:00–21:00', anything that makes sense to your customers. The system does not use the hours to restrict check-ins.
The QR code is generated in Step 5 of the onboarding wizard and is always accessible from your dashboard under Settings → QR Code. The QR encodes the URL of your café's join page: /h/[slug]/join.
Print the QR at A4 or A3 size and stick it to the counter or a wall where customers will see it. Laminate it if it's near the espresso machine. The QR has an error correction level of 'H' (high), so it remains readable even if part of the print is slightly worn or stained.
Print your QR code in black on white. Colour printing is not required, and high contrast is more reliable in poor lighting conditions.
